"Giving Thanks"

On Thanksgiving RSH and a group of volunteers set out to feed the homeless. We feed 30 homeless residing in the Channelview and Northshore area. Special thanks to the youth volunteers and Judge Joe Stephens for sponsoring the turkeys!

"Zumba For A Cause"

Roy's Safe Haven's 3rd annual "Zumba For A Cause" hygiene drive. This year was a HUGE success we extend a special thanks to Pecan Street Christian Academy 1215 Pecan Street Channelview, TX 77530. Also to Ms. Tiffany Hightower for the high energy, fun filled , phenomenal workout! With all of the hygiene RSH was able to serve 200 homeless citizens with hygiene!!!!!!!!

"Zumba For A Cause"

"Zumba For A Cause" was RSH 2nd annual hygiene drive. We supplied 120 homeless with hygiene supplies at Downtown Houston Loaves and Fishes soup kitchen. RSH would like to give a special thanks to Mrs. Diana with Dianita Fitness Studio (11510 Homestead Rd. #100) for helping make the day a great success along with George (Loaves and Fishes Mgr).

Make A Difference

"For I was hungry, you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, you invited Me in;" (Matthew 25:35). On June 29, 2013 temperatures ranged from 103-107 degrees. The mission for the day was to provide relief to 100 individuals with water and food along with prayer.

Hygiene Distribution

The purpose of Zumba For A Cause was to collect hygiene supplies to distribute to homeless men and women in need, and raise awareness of the plight of the homeless and low-income families. Zumba For A Cause was so successful that we were able to collect enough items to distribute hygiene bags to 105 people-- approximately 60 men and 45 women-- in the Channelview and Downtown Area. Thanks to Monique Miles of Star Rhythm Tumbling, LLC who made the event possible, and all of our generous donors who supplied more than enough hygiene items for our next event!

"Clothing Drive"

On January 12, 2013, We held a clothing drive to serve the homeless and low income families. Thanks to the support of the community, not only did several families receive much needed clothing, but we were surprised when we raised $500 for future programs!

For the last two years, we have provided toys and food for families who need assistance with Christmas. This year we served 5 families with a total of 20 children!
